Hot Buttered Rum

With the colder weather (and a possibility of snow ! )- a friend today reminded me of the hot buttered rum recipe that we have used for a fun winter drink. Perfect for this kind of weather!!!

A good idea is to make the butter all at once and use it when you are wanting a drink- sort of like making a compound butter. We typically use 1-2 tbsp of the butter mixture per cup.
